HELP FOR CAMBODIA
Suggestion By Ky
(N.Z. Press Assn.—-Copyright) BANGKOK, July 12. The United States, Thailand and South Vietnam should all join together to assist Cambodia, the VicePresident of South Vietnam, Nguyen Cao Ky, said today. Mr Ky, who came to Tailand for what is listed as a private visit, stopped briefly at Bangkok Airport, on his way to the northern city of Chieng Mai, where he will spend the night before returning to Bangkok tomorrow for talks with Thai leaders on aid to Cambodia. In a short meeting with reporters, Mr Ky declined to say whether South Vietnam would increase its troop commitment to Cambodia. But he said that the South Vietnamese Army was trying to recapture villages and towns occupied by North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces.
A resumption of the bombing of North Vietnam would help the military situation in Cambodia, he said.
