Motor Spirit Licensing
Confirmation of its February decision to issue a licence to retail motor spirits to Whitby Motors, Ltd, 62 Riccarton Road, was given yesterday by the Motor Spirits Licensing Authority. The Authority (Mr J. W. Bain, chairman, and Messrs F. S. Taylor and G. Laurence) reconsidered its decision at the direction of the Motor Spirits Licensing Appeal Authority. The authority also granted licences to retail petrol to Hutchinson Motors, Ltd, 469 Papanui Road; the Christchurch Central Flying School, Christchurch airport (fuel for aircraft only): Stadium Motors, Ltd, 165 Paces Road; G. J. Meikle, Main Road, Dobson; Hervey Motors, Ltd, Twizel, South Canterbury; Palmside Service Station. Ltd. 287 Hoon Ha' Road, and Netherby Garage and Service Station. Ltd, Albert Street. Ashburton.
