Sir, —1 am writing this letter at 5.40 a.m., not because I am an early riser, but because I have been wakened by the noise from a caravan of petrol tankers which have just roared through Sumner on their way to wake up a section of Redcliffs residents 1 realise these tankers have every right to use the roads, but I feel the company concerned should show some consideration for others by adjusting its time-tables to a more civilised hour. 1 would like to know if the Transport Department has any control over such matters.—Yours, etc., USER OF ANOTHER FUEL—NOW.
