MAIL FOR AUSTRALIA
New Service Arranged
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 8. Mail between New Zealand and Australia is now being carried by the Union Steam Ship Company’s vessels Maheno and Marama. A weekly service will be Provided for mail for Vic--4 ria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania by the ships, which sail on alternate weeks to Sydney and Melbourne. A fortnightly service will apply to mail foi New South Wales and Queensland. Mail will also continue to be dispatched on intermediate sailings of conventional vessels.
