Friday Work Banned
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, July 8. I Dunedin hotel workers de--1 cided at a meeting this morning not to return to work today. They will work tomorrow and be out again on Friday. They decided that work would also cease on the next Friday, July 17. This is the i only action to be taken in the : meantime. About 400 members of the ■ Hotel Workers’ Union atten- > ded the meeting in the Burns Hall to discuss the wage disi pute while publicans and their families manned bars and attended guests.
