Carter Profit Falls Again
1 (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 9. The group net profit of Carter Consolidated, Ltd, Auckland timber group, fell $45,514, or 13.4 per cent, to $293,658 in the year to March 31. Last year the profit dropped 6.7 per cent after a 5 per cent fall the previous year. The net profit before tax and minorities fell $34,420 or 6.6 per cent to $487,461. The dividend is I steady at 7) per cent with a> 4* per cent final. The earning rate on ordinary capital eased from 11.91 per cent to 10.3 per cent. 1
