AUTOMATIC SAAB
The Swedish Saab car company is now fitting BorgWarner automatic transmission to its 99E model. It is the first time this transmission has been fitted to a front-wheel-drive car with a “north-south” engine. The 99E is powered by a 1709 c.c. engine developed jointly by British Leyland and Saab. The engine is made in Britain.
