Elimination Of Uniforms
The elimination of uniforms in all intermediate schools is the aim of a remit to be put before the New Zealand Parent Teacher Association’s conference at Massey University next month. During a discussion on a: suggested standardisation of' intermediate and secondary school uniforms by the Burnside High School board last evening, the parent teacher representative, Mr J. R. Ragg, that such plans would be pointless if it was decided to i abandon intermediate school , uniforms.
