British Govt Wins Test

LONDON, July 9. Britain’s new Conservative Government won its first test in the House of Commons last night by a majority of 46 votes. It defeated an Opposition Labour Party motion critical of the Government’s secondary education policy by 16 votes more than the j?O-seat majorityin Parliament. . .. labour members „ere absent from the House.
