Lamb Prices Much Easier

The offset of hot weather caused trading to move very slowly on Smithfield market last week. Quotations for New Zealand lamb moved downward. The main grade of New Zealand lamb (prime 29/361b) was quoted at 31d to 32id per lb, or jd lower than last week. New Zealand mutton sold slowly, mainly in cut form.
