PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 72 OF THE AGRICULTURAL PESTS DESTRUCTION ACT, 1967 NOTICE is Hereby Given that the Upper Rakaia Pest Destruction Board has by resolution dated June 4, 1970, classified all land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing April 1, 1970, and ending on March 31, 1971.

A list setting forth such classification may be inspected without fee at the office of the board, J. W. K. Lawrence and Co., Chartered Accountants, 208 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on week days, and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 1970, until 5 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 1970. Notice of proportion of rate proposed by the Upper Rakaia Pest Destruction Board to be appointed in respect of the respective classes of land in its district is as set out hereunder being public notice pursuant to section 72 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act, 1967, and sections 52 and 71 of the Rating Act, 1967. Notice is hereby given that the Upper Rakaia Pest Destruction Board intends at a meeting of the board to be held at Christchurch at 12.30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6. 1970 (or at such other place or date as the said board shall meet), to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on April 1. 1970, and ending on March 31, 1971, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land:
