Carrots were 20c dearer, costing up to $1.40 a case, at the, Christchurch produce markets [yesterday, compared to Monday's prices. Kumeras were 50c I idearer. fetching up to $3.50 a case. Sprouts were up to 70c : cheaper, selling at up to $2.80 a case while an over supply of,' silver beet was 30c cheaper, costing up to 50c a case. Potato, pumpkin and onion prices remained unchanged.
