I The licence fee is fifty cents ►, per year plus ten cents if a; licence cover is required. EYESIGHT TESTS Drivers over the age of fifty are reminded of the recent! amendment to the Motors Drivers Licence Regulations, issued, under the Transport Act. which! requires that all drivers be- ; tween the ages of fifty and seventy years undergo an eye-! sight test every five years, com-i mencing at the time of the first, renewal after the fiftieth birth-! day. Tests may be conducted at; the County Offices when appli-l cation is made for renew- I al or. if more convenient, maybe made by an optician, and’ his certificate presented with! the licence for renewal in the normal way. RENEWAL BY MAIL With the exception of renewal which requires a medical certificate or a driving test, licences previously issued by the Paparua or Halswell County Councils may be renewed by mail, provided the following are forwarded to the County Office, S-ckburn, P.O.
