SMELTER CONTRACTS

AUCKLAND, June 10.
Two Christchurch firms have won a share of further contracts for the Bluff smelter totalling $2,365,000. The contracts announced today by the chairman of the New Zealand Construction Company (Dr R. G. McElroy), include.—Aluminium holding furnaces: Furnace Equipment, Christchurch; air shields for reduction cells: C. W. F. Hamilton, Christchurch.
