ANOTHER TROPHY.—The Christchurch former double world speedway champion, R. L. Moore, holds aloft the trophy he won in the recent Superama contest at Hackney. Moore, who has been one of the top riders in British speedway this season, brilliantly came from behind to beat the reigning world champion, I. Mauger, also of Christchurch, in the eighth heat. He also defeated Christchurch’s other former world champion, B. Briggs, after a wheel-to-wheel scrap. Moore finished one point in front of Mauger with the Swede, S. Sjosten, third.
