ABOUT ANTIQUES The many people who have visited the new branch of ANN - TIQUES GALLERY, LTD, opened a week ago at 358 Colombo Street, Syden- . ham, have been agreeably surprised at the quality of the glorious antiques on view. Silver from the reign of George 11, furniture and glorious ceramics dating back .to George i 111, choice Victorian jewellery and bric-a-brac, including such interesting baubles as porcelain carpet bowls and an exquisite bride’s posy holder are exhibited. Miss Betty Ladd, the manageress, is justly proud of the display. Said one visitor: "This is what I call an Antique Shop.” The Gallery is easy to find, being almost next door to the Sydenham .School. Only exclusive pieces ||are stocked. —Advt.
