(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) REDCAR (England). l Lady Durham’s Crescent Dart,! the favourite, won the Northern’ Handicap Spring Sweepstakes, over five furlongs, at Redcar on Tuesday. Mr G. Harrison s The Birdman was second and Mrs A. J. Perratt’s third of 10 runners. The apprentice, R. Young, rode Crescent Dart, which won by a length, with two lengths between second and th|rd.
