CLIFFORD CURZON You high-lighted Sunday evening’s programme and 1 .agree that it was uniformly good, particularly the performance of Clifford Curzon’s pianforte recital of Schubert’s “Impromptu.” This item you saw fit not to mention. Surely he would have had a more appreciative audience than “A Touch of Venus”? To settle an argument, did “A Touch of Venus” appear on the screen before or after the Clifford Curzon recital? INTERESTED. (After—Pandora). INFORMATION Thank you for your enlightened comments on our TV programmes. A year or so ago I wrote to the “Listener” suggesting that each item; have the country of origin' included. This would at least give viewers a clue as to what to expect. Surely if U.S.A., U.K., N.Z., Aust., etc., was printed with each item it would not inconvenience the N.Z.B.C. more than the inconvenience caused to many viewers having to turn their sets off and on. I had no acknowledgement of my letter—E. A. F. WILDING.
