Selwyn Scores First Table Tennis Points

Selwyn scored its first points of the season, beating Wallabies, 7-5, during the fifth I round of the senior table tennis (competition last night. ; V. N. Brightwell had good Iwins for Selwyn over N. B. RadIford and M. A. Cox but was beaten by K. Cassidy in advantage points in the third game. H. P. Holt (Selwyn) returned to form, beating Cassidy and Cox. For Wallabies. Cassidy was top scorer, winning two singles. Dallington failed to get away from the bottom of the points table, losing to University 11. ,;5-7. Although leading the contest. 5-4, Dallington failed to iwin another match. , R. G. Hart and D. J. Kalin I<Dallington) both beat Chia Kah Ming and Tan Kim Seng, but (the side was let down by an ■off-form B. T. Edwards, who failed to win a singles match. iFor University, Yeoh Keat Chye was the dominant player, being junbeaten in singles. Without J.
