MUSIC IN SCHOOLS
New Concert Series To expect everything from the State was a mistaken and unhealthy attitude, said the managing director of BP (N.Z.), Ltd, Mr A. H. Barran, at Onslow College, Auckland, recently when attending the inaugural concert there of the series his firm will sponsor for the next three years through the Chamber of Music Federation.
The firm’s sponsorship means that outstanding international musical ensembles will be able to play in schools throughout New Zealand.
