Cooking vegetables were cheaper, but salad vegetable and fruit prices were un changed at the Christchurch produce markets yesterday compared to Thursday s prices. However, sprouts sold for up to $3.50 a case, $1 dearer and grapefruit cost up to $6.80 a case, an increase of up to $l.BO Cabbages were 40 cents cheaper, costing up to $1 a case and cauliflowers, at from 60 cents to 80 cents a case, were up to 10 cents cheaper.
