Church Leader Dead
Dr J. W. Burton, a formei president-general of the Methodist Church of Australia, has died in Sydney, at the age of 95. Born in Yorkshire, Dr Burton went to New Zealand as a child. He entered the Methodist Church there before moving to Australia. He was an authority on the South Pacific and was a missionary in Fiji from 1903 to 1910.—Sydney, May 25.
