Concern About Amalgamation

WELLINGTON, May 19.
The proposed amalgamation of the Child Welfare Division and the Social Security Department has caused concern among members of the Association of Social Workers, according to a statement from the association today. Delegates at a week-end meeting of the national council of the association agreed to take action to enable the public to comment on the proposal, the statement said.
