May 13. ] Cambodia’s deposed head of State, Prince Norodom Siha- s nouk, has reiterated that he [ holds no ambition of return- , ing to power and entrusted , the "liberation” of his coun- , try to three pro-Communist guerrilla leaders. In a message to the Cam-' bodian Armed Forces and! guerrillas, he said that he had) entrusted the management of the country to the three men. the New China News Agency reported today. Observers said this indicated that he had dropped—at [least for the moment—the I 'idea of returning to Cambo[dia to lead a guerrilla campaign against the regime of General Lon Nol. who de-’ posed him on March 18. The 47-year-old Prince’ called on Cambodian Government soldiers to join the guerrillas who, he said, were just about to capture Phnom Penh when United States and South Vietnamese troops intervened and invaded Cambodia.
