Showing Concern
There was a growing awareness of the need to show concern for the individual person, the rector of St Andrew’s College (Mr I. T. Galloway) told the monthly meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery. As State schools tended to grow bigger and bigger they would become more institutionalised, he said, but private schools with their smaller roles could play an important part in this field.
