Meeting At Addington
The Akaroa Trotting Club’s meeting will now be ' held at Addington Raceway on Anzac Day. The club was to have raced at Motukarara, but the course there is in unsuitable condition.
i The Motukarara course was inspected earlier in the week Iby the chief stipendiary steward (Mr L. A. Butterfield) and two members of the executive of the New Zealand Trotting Conference, this being done at the request .of the New ; Zealand Horsemen’s Association. They found that the track was unsuitable, being particularly rough where topdressing and resowing had taken place.
