SPICED PRUNES

You Will Need: 3 cups large prunes. 2 sticks cinnamon or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 2 teaspoons whole cloves. 2 teaspoons allspice. 1 quart water. 1} cups cider vinegar. 3 cups honey. METHOD: Wash prunes several times in cold water and drain well. Tie spices into a muslin bag. Combine water, vinegar and honey, add spices and bring to boil, then add prunes and simmer them in the syrup for about 45 minutes until they are plump and tender. Pour into hot sterilised jars and seal.
