has been asked to advise on the following position: Transport Engineer $5,000 One of New Zealand’s largest companies requires a I Transport Engineer. The Company operates over ! 100 heavy road tankers throughout New Zealand and I an Engineer is required for a new position in Head Office. He will be responsible for:— • Selection of prime movers. • Design, specification, and supervision of tanker construction. • Maintenance and replacement policies. • Fleet utilisation. This position provides the opportunity to apply modem developments in road transport in a large and progressive New Zealand business. QVALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have had experience in design, construction or operation of heavy vehicles or stainless steel fabrication. An N.Z.C.E. or equivalent is essential and a knowledge i of costing would be useful. The preferred age range I is 28 - 45. I CONDITIONS: A commencing salary between ] S4OOO - $5OOO per year is envisaged, although this could be exceeded depending on qualifications and experience.
