Brierlev Gives More Time
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 20. R. A. Brierley Investments, Ltd, has extended the acceptance date for Its take-over bid for Northern Steam Ship Company, Ltd, from March 20 to April 30. The bid is worth 92c a share at current market values, compared with the present price of 98c for Northern Steam shares. Northern Steam is ques- i tioning the legality of the bid and seeking court I action.
