189,000 Sign Petition

WELLINGTON, March 20. With only one more day before the Save .Manapouri petition closes the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society still needs more than 60,000 signatures to reach the target of 250,000. By noon today 189.300 signatures had been received, but a lot of afternoon mail had to be counted.
The petition will close tomorrow but mail posted that day will still be counted.
