Robin’s Request ran an excel* lent preliminary for his Wellington engagement when he won the Winnie Stakes at Pukekohe on Saturday Moomba Fox finished only third in the Buckland Handicap. a fast-run mile, but will probably do better as soon as he gets more ground At Trentham his assignment will be the New Zealand St Leger. Both Robin’s Request and Moomba Fox will probably be ridden at Trentham by R. J. Skelton. Their trainer, W. P. Miller, said yesterday he expected Skelton back from South Africa in time A
