WALLPAPER MUSEUM.—A printing plate formerly used to make wallpaper (left), and one of the newest creations for the wall are displayed by two “castle damsels” at the wallpaper museum in Kassel, Germany. An exhibition will soon be held at the museum showing five centuries of wall coverings including printed paper rolls from the days of Albrecht Durer, leather tapestries from medieval castles, and 10 metre-long rolls of pop art.
