He should be highly qualified in Engineering, Science, Economics or Agriculture, preferably supported by a further qualification in Business Administration. Because the 1970's will be a period of further scientific and technological progress the successful appointee must be conditioned to meet new demands and rapid changes. Later on, there is likely to be overseas travel meeting colleagues who possess very extensive talents.
