Ten-Year Bonanza Expected

An Australian investment consultant (Dr Michael Garretty) believes the mining bonanza will last at least another decade. He told a press conference in London today: “This is not just a flash in the pan—it is the start of a decade of major development” Dr Garretty, who is head of the Australian investment consultants firm Trendex, said he expected to see many more exploration companies begin prospecting in Western Australia, where the recent big nickel finds have been reported. Just a few would be successful and that would be enough to push up mineral production substantially, he said. 5.,
