Ford Record
Ford of Britain exports set a new record last year, and were 25 per cent higher than in the previous year. In spite of strikes, which reduced production by 57,000 vehicles, Ford exports wert worth ss2om Britain's best-selling car in other countries is still the Cortina, the company says, and 164,000 of these were exported.
