For the first time, Pirelli, Ltd, is to export tyres to 1 New Zealand from its Bri- r tish factories. The com- t pany’s export sales manager c (Mr F. Briggs), is now mak- c ing a tour of Australia, New r Zealand and Ceylon, during I which he plans to negotiate p the sale of Pirelli tyres. n
From July, -the New Zealand Government will lift restrictions on the importation of tyres from other countries, the British Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders says. The Italian-based Pirelli company now sells to 35 export markets.
