Field Day On Nitrogen
The Ohoka branch of Federated Farmers will hold a field afternoon next Wednesday beginning at 1.15 p.m. on the Holmcroft property of Mr Andrew Williams at Fernside. The subject of the programme is nitrogen with irrigation and speakers will include farmers, scientists of the Grasslands Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research and the New Zealand Agricultural Engineering Institute, and members of the staff of Lincoln College and of Kempthorne Prosser. The programme will in
elude a demonstration of application methods and an inspection of treated pasture and a panel discussion bj farmers.
