"We do not wish to be a party to any situation which implies pressure on the Commission to give less time and consideration to the matter thgtt is deserved.” he said. The dispute basically is over . which union has the right to tally cargo for the Marama in freight forwarding depots. Members,of the Transport i Workers’ Union perform the ;work at present, but the j clerks maintain it is work j i that has moved from the I wharves, and therefore should be done by wharf clerks. : “We believe Our claim is fair, just and reasonable,'] ; Mr Riordan told the Commis | sion.
