REPAYMENT IN ADVANCE
(N.Z P A.-Reuter —Copyright)
LONDON, February 26.
Britain today repaid a SUSISOm loan from the International Monetary Fund a week before it was due.
It was the seventh payment on SUSI4OOm drawn in May, 1965. Only. s2oom of this is now outstanding, and it is not due to be paid until May. Today’s early repayment is seen in financial circles as an indication that Britain’s gold and dollar reserves have had another good month.
