SLIP OF TONGUE
(N Z Press Association/ WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. A slip of the tongue in i Christchurch yesterday was | explained today by the Minister of Lands (Mr Mac- * Intyre). The Minister referred to i trout as “noxious” animals * when he meant to refer to them as “exotic" animals * in the terms of the National Parks Act. The slip came after he had discussed, in a speech to the South Island Publiclty Association, the changes In Fiordland’s * ecology brought about by ; such “noxious” animals as ' deer and wapiti.
