L. Trevino and R. Murphy, neither of whom has won a tournament recently, each scored a six-under-par 66 to share the first-round lead in the SlOO.OOO Tucson open golf tournament yesterday.
[ Murphy started his round [with a one-over and Trevino ; ended his with a two-over, ! but each putted magnifi ] cently. They were followed, one stroke away, by W Casper [and D. Wysong. and there was a bunch of eight on 68 The New Zealander. R. J 'Charles, was on 73.
