Change In Arms Regulations
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. New requirements under the Arms Regulations have been gazetted. The officer issuing an import permit must be satisfied that the applicant is. a suitable person to be permitted to import a firearm, and a permit will now be required before starting pistols can be imported. Applications fdr permits to procure possession of pistols must be made in writing to the arms office nearest to the applicant’s address.
