Tennis On One Day
... At the request of Nelson, its Wilding Shield tennis match with Canterbury at Wilding Park this week-end will be played on Saturday 'only instead of on two days as is usual for these matches. The secretary of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association (Mrs M. Clarke) was advised yesterday that the Nelson team would be R. Colello. L. Goodall, R. Harris and B. May. The contest will begin in the morning instead of the afternoon as previously scheduled.
