Seventy-two players from 19 clubs competed in an A grade women s field day at Wilding Park yesterday. Results were: ! Mesdames E. Baird and J. Langston (Riccarton Domain) 37 points. Mesdames D. Smith and L. Brown (Edgeware) 35. Mesdames B. McGee and N. Harliwich (Burwood Park) 32. Mesdames P. Menzies and E. Soloski (United) 30.
Irish Soccer.— Glenavon beat Distillery. 2-1. in an Irish Cup first round soccer match.
