FIRE AT HOUSE
The weatherboards at the rear of a house at 56 Browns Road, ignited yesterday during burning,off but damage! was slight. Firemen from St Albans and headquarters ans-j wered the call received at 1.50 p.m. and the fire was put out using a garden hose. Norman Trevor Wright is the oc ; ; cupier. At 1.53 p.m. one machine from Sockburn was sent to > the Disabled Servicemen’s I Centre, Riccarton Road, (Where there was a fire in 1 duets used to carry dust to a destructor. Little damage was caused.
