Gilpatric On C.B.S. Board
(N.Z. Press Assru—Copyright) NEW YORK, Feb. 12. The Columbia Broadcasting System announced today the election of Mr Roswell Gilpatric, a former United States Deputy Secretary of Defence, to its board of directors Mr Gilpatric, a New York lawyer, who has also been an Assistant Secretary and Un der-Secretary of the Air Force, in the Administration of President Truman, was recently linked with the name of Mrs Jacqueline Onassis by a series of personal letters put up for auction which he says were taken from his files without his knowledge.
