Reply From Duke
(N.Z Press Association* HAMILTON. Feb. 11. A Hamilton hunter and safari tour organiser, Mr G. Joll, has received a letter from the Duke of Edinburgh’s private secretary in reply to his plea for the Duke to help save Lake Manapouri. The letter reads: “His Royal Highness asks me to thank you for your letter which is one of many received about Lake Manapouri. His Royal Highness is taking what action is open to him.” Mr Joll and his partner. Mr R. Spanton, wrote to the Duke three weeks ago.
