Ship Blast Kills 24
(N.Z. Press Association) LA GUAIRA (Venezuela), February 10. An explosion ripped through a ship off the Venezuelan coast last night, killing 24 of the 27 persons aboard, La Guaira Port authorities reported. United Press International reported that the ship was identified only as the Pampatar. it was said to be in waters about 10 miles north of La Guaira, a port city, 12 miles north of Caracas.
