I ' The directors of Winstone, 1 iLtd, and Golden Bay Cement, (Company, Ltd, say that with their knowledge of the I cement industry they are con-i 1 vi.nced their offer for Wilsons i(N.Z.) Portland Cement Com-! pany, Ltd, is realistic and | fair to all concerned. They: say this in a letter to share-: holders of Wilsons.
In January, the Wilsons 'directors said the offer was inadequate, but this week’s Winstone and Goolden Bay letter says the sharemarket does not support the Wilsons iclaim that its shares are worth 450 c. j Wilsons shares are now j selling round 296 c, which is :48c below the value of the Ibid at latest share prices
