DIFFICULT CONDITIONS.—Miss J. Meyer (St Albans) in a backward dive off the three metre board during the Canterbury springboard diving championships at the Centennial Pool on Saturday. Miss Meyer retained her senior title in difficult conditions. The wind was so strong at times that divers had difficulty retaining their balance before beginning to dive.
